Time to introduce myself, I guess…

After being told on several occasions that I seem to be somewhat okay at filling an itinerary whilst on holiday, both home and abroad, I felt it was about time that I shared some of these learnings!

The vast majority of my adventures are shared with my fiancé, Lauren. We are both quickly waving goodbye to our 20s and are becoming increasingly conscious of the increasingly limited time that we have available to see the world, whilst both balancing full-time jobs, doing up a house and working around our two cats!

We are guilty of choosing our destinations very last minute. Although this brings a unique thrill, it can also be stressful when working out how to fill the time, especially when certain things require booking in advance. I struggle to sit still at the best of times, so am often like a coiled spring when we are away. As a compromise, we often look for places that combine exploration and relaxation (although often more of the former!).
